I received a ceramic bowl, white and glazed on the inside, for Christmas. How can I be sure its non-toxic?
My friend bought it in a store. There is no information on the bowl, not even a country of origin.
if it's home made, be careful. many ceramic glazes are not food safe. i don't know how you can tell, unless you ask the person who made it what glaze they used. if it's store bought, there should be some info on the bottom to indicate where it came from, and most store bought bowls have to be food safe, or say they are not.
